About Pediatric Partners - El Paso, Texas

Our physicians specialize in the needs of infants, children, and adolescents. All of our physicians are Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. 

It is our goal to provide you and your family with comprehensive, consumer oriented health care. Our name, Partners in Pediatrics, reflects our desire to partner with parents to maintain the health of their children. Our practice provides patients and their families with a safe, clean, and happy environment that allows us to build trusting relationships.

Our team plays an important role in the development of your children by providing:

  2. Physicals and sports exams
  3. Lab work, x-rays, and vaccines
  4. Prenatal consultation
  5. Counseling regarding developmental, behavioral issues, and ADHD
  6. Primary care for special needs children
  7. Nutritional evaluations and consultation with a registered dietitian

We are not an emergency care facility, if your child is urgently ill or seriously injured please take them to the closest hospital emergency room.

Sick appointments are usually made on the same day of the phone call. Please call before coming so that we may give you an exact time.

How do I refill my prescriptions?
Prescriptions can usually be refilled through your pharmacy. Please call our office and leave a message. Someone will get back to you by the end of the day. Prescriptions for controlled substances can only be refilled after a visit with a doctor.

What is the proper dosage for my child for commonly used over the counter medications?
The following dosing instruction tables will be able to help for children (0-23 mo). OTC children's medications

Do you schedule Saturday appointments?
Yes, we do schedule Saturday appointments at our office. Please call 915-591-7704.

How do I request specialist referrals?
Check with your insurance to make sure you need a referral, some do not require them. If you do need a referral and you haven't seen a Partners in Pediatrics doctor recently for the related problem, you must come in or schedule an appointment.

How do I request medial records?
A signed authorization must be faxed to the office by a custodial parent in order to release records. Please call the office so we can fax you the necessary form. 915-591-7704.

My child has been seeing Dr. Prieto for 9 years, but recently turned 18. Can my child continue seeing Dr. Prieto?
All the providers at Partners in Pediatrics see patients up to the age of 25.

What makes Partners in Pediatrics different from other area providers?
We offer many services outside the ordinary scope of pediatrics. We offer young women pap smears and women's visits. We have an on-site nutritionist, an on-site x-ray technician, and we provide counseling for developmental and behavioral problems.
